Nursing is both an art and science. It is a unique profession that deals with all the dynamics affecting individuals and views the individual as a holistic being (bio-psycho-social-spiritual). Nurses collaborate with other members of the health care team to encourage individuals to participate in their care.
The objective of our nursing programs is to provide students with the appropriate didactic theory and hands-on skills required to find entry-level positions as nurses in health care clinics and facilities.
COURSES
Our nursing programs provide students with the hands-on training and education in the following areas:
* Anatomy and Physiology * Nursing Fundamentals * Nursing Pharmacology * Basic Nutrition * Care of Adult * Nursing Care * Maternal Child Nursing
The nursing program includes a focus on theories, concepts, and principles of nursing. It also delves into the important areas of leading and managing as well as pertinent legal issues faced by nursing leaders and managers.

ACCREDITATION
Our nursing programs are accredited by the State Board of Nursing in the state and at the campus where the program is located. Our programs are also accredited by the national accreditation body for each individual campus.
VOCATIONAL NURSING - ANAHEIM
The objective of the Vocational Nursing Program is to provide the student with the appropriate didactic theory and hands-on skills required and necessary, to prepare them for entry level positions as licensed practical nurse in today´s health care centers clinics, and facilities.
The combination of introduced skills taught in this program, will prepare students for the ever-changing field of nursing and health care. Students study fundamental principles and practices of nursing, anatomy and physiology, infection control, asepsis and patient care skills, pharmacology, nursing process and health care of client throughout their life span and in addition to their clinical rotations, students also have the opportunity to practice their skills in the clinical skills lab. Clinical skills competency will be assessed at the completion of Pharmacology and the completion of each level.
Also covered in this program will be the ethical and legal responsibilities of the practical nurse as they relate to the health care facility, the client, and co-workers. Professionalism and general communication skills, both of which are considered essential to any health care professional, are also taught and addressed throughout the entire program.
