MISSION

The mission of the College of Nursing is to facilitate the health of the community through excellence and innovation in nursing education, leadership, research, scholarship and practice.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

The traditional BSN program consists of five semesters in the major after you have completed your university core requirements. You can become a BSN major by enrolling at ETSU as a pre-nursing major, changing majors, or transferring to ETSU from another university. You can also obtain the BSN after completing another college degree.

Upon successful completion of all nursing course work, you will receive a BSN degree and will be qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become a Registered Nurse.
