University of Vermont (Department of Nursing)

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences' (CNHS) intimate size with the setting of a major research university creates an ideal academic environment for health sciences. Hands-on learning in our many facilities fulfills every student's desire for clinical training. Students from our many departments and programs graduate as qualified agents of health and change for any healthcare system.

The Nursing Department at the University of Vermont offers a number of opportunities through three main programs:

* Undergraduate program: This prepares individuals for the practice of professional nursing; the program culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree.
* Professional program/Accelerated R.N.-B.S.-M.S.: This program provides professional enhancement for registered nurses.
* Graduate program: These programs prepare individuals for advanced nursing practice; the programs culminate in a Master of Science degree.
